U.S. stocks close mixed as cryptocurrency concepts rise in popularity
U.S. stocks closed mixed, the Dow fell 0.28%, the Nasdaq rose 0.81%, the S&P 500 index rose 0.25%, the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 index set a new closing high. Tesla rose over 5% as Bank of America raised its 12-month price target on Tesla to $400 and maintained its Buy rating on bullishness on its FSD and AI segments. Bitcoin is back above $100,000 and cryptocurrency concepts are stronger, with KANAN Technology surging over 35%, Bit Digital up over 9% and Coinbase up over 7%.
