U.S. stocks opened, the S&P 500 index rose 0.42%
On October 25, U.S. stocks opened up 0.24% on the Dow, 0.42% on the S&P 500, and 0.53% on the Nasdaq. Western Digital (WDC.O) rose 9.8% as it turned a profit in its fiscal first quarter. Tesla (TSLA.O) fell 1.69 percent after closing up nearly 22 percent yesterday.
